Keithley Instruments manufactures standalone high-precision measurement devices and sources as well as devices for multi-channel data acquisition connected to a PC via USB, GPIB, RS232 or Ethernet.
National Instruments
Besides high-quality PC cards and USB measurement boxes National Instruments offers two very interesting external scalable systems: NI CompactDAQ and NI CompactRIO. They show their strenghts when controlling critical processes.
