Control of a pressure sensor test bed

Task

Software designing for the purpose of controlling a test bed for permanent as well as for single tests on pressure sensors. Individual preparation of several pressure profiles (ramp, steps, jumps) with different time constants.

Requirements

• Use of an industrial PC
• Communication with external measuring units via RS 232 and GPIB
• Free configurable single and permanent tests
• Using one program for measuring and analyzing tasks
• Automatic back-up at every hour
• Continuation of the last test in case of power failure
• Advanced graphic analysis of the measurement results from different points of view

Solution

Designing the software by using Lab Windows/CVI (National Instruments). "step-by-step" - user guide through each test sequence. Instinctive use, optimized for users with little knowledge according computers. Demanding graphic analysis, graphical and tabular printout.
