Automation of Software-Defined Test Systems
With TestStand's Sequence Editor we build test sequences of any complexity. We create customized user interfaces in LabVIEW or LabWindows/CVI with well defined access rights for executing the final test sequences. We automatically log all test results into a final test report or a database.
Code Modules
For TestStand we build matching code modules in LabVIEW or LabWindows/CVI; these modules contain all partial functionalites of the test process.
About TestStand
TestStand from National Instruments was developed to automate numerous different test systems and to standardize the proceeding. TestStand organizes, controls and administrates test systems for prototypes, production and final inspection. TestStand represents a sequence editor for combining different test steps into a single sequence and executing them. The functionality of each step is realized by implementation of DLLs, ActiveX, LabVIEW-VIs or executables. TestStand allows easy debugging, because the development environments LabVIEW and Measurement Studio are fully integrated, up to single step mode within the final test application.

TestStand is well suited for the control of highly complex test systems. We mainly use TestStand if the customer has TestStand and wants to modify and adapt the test sequences to future requirements at any time.
